All cat lovers know that cats love Christmas! They love the shiny ornaments, the way the tree moves when they
bat it or rub against it or climb in it... and they love getting a cat Christmas stocking full of cat toys to tear
into! But of course the cat doesn't care about Christmas as a celebration for human beings.
Many families love to spoil their cats and kittens on holidays even if our pets don't know what a holiday is.
Don't be fooled though; I'm sure they have a sense that something special is going on.
One very popular gift cat lovers like is a cat Christmas stocking. They used to be kind of rare, but now you can
find so many cute designs all over the web it's hard to choose just one.
Choosing a Cat Christmas Stocking for Blackie
My family adopted a full grown cat and he is a great addition to our clan. We decided to show the cat that he is
an equal by getting him his very own cat Christmas stocking that had his name on it.
I went to a few stores to find just the right one. I wound up with two stockings instead of one. The first one I
chose is just adorable. The top of the stocking is white and the foot is a beautiful shade of sparkling green. The
cat Christmas stocking is personalized with Blackie's name and there is even a little bell to entertain the cat as
well.
I really liked this cat Christmas stocking because of its size. It is 18 inches long and 8 inches wide so I can
fit plenty of treats for our beloved animal in it. I chose everything from play mice to edible treats to put in
Blackie's cat Christmas stocking. I just can't wait to give it to him on Christmas morning. I hung it on my cat
scratching post. I thought about putting cat nip in it but then had second thoughts.
The following video is not of my Blackie but it shows just how much fun another cat named Blackie got from the
cat Christmas stocking he raided. I think it's a cat nip stuffed fish. Yum!
The second thing I purchased I bought more for myself than my cat. I just couldn't pass this one up!
It is a paw-shaped stocking. This will even let Santa and other holiday guests know exactly who the stocking is
for. The only thing I didn't like about it was it is too small for all the toys and treats I got for my cat.
What I really liked about this one is that I can put a kitty name on the white spot up in the very top corner in
sparkly green letters.
Maybe I will get my husband to agree to another kitten for our family. That way the new cat Christmas stocking
may be put to use.
