Cat Christmas Stocking

Don't forget about your four-legged, furry members of your family - they need Christmas decorations too such as a cat Christmas stocking! Most people would say there cat or dog is part of the family. Well that's how I feel about mine too.

Many families love to spoil their kittens and cats on holidays even if they don't know what a holiday is. Don't be fooled though, I am sure they have a sense that something special is going on. One very popular thing people get is a Christmas stocking for a cat. Some types to choose from come from Christmas crafts which include the knitted Christmas stocking, needlepoint stocking, or just a pattern stocking.

If you want a Christmas stocking for a cat, you can either get creative and make one yourself or you can find one at your local pet store. They used to be rare, but now you can find so many cute designs, it may be hard to choose just one.

Can't Find a Cat Christmas Stocking?
If for some reason you just can't find a Christmas stocking you like at the local pet store, then you can easily hop online and find some very unique ones. Sometimes, major stores have items for sale on their web sites that you cannot find in the store itself. Most of the time this is due to their merchandise selling more quickly than they anticipated.

My family just adopted a full grown cat and he is a great addition to our clan. We decided to show the cat that he is an equal by getting him his very own cat Christmas stocking that had his name on it.

I went to a few stores to find just the right one. I wound up with two stockings instead of one. The first one I chose is just adorable. The top of the stocking is white and the foot is a beautiful shade of sparkling green. The cat Christmas stocking is personalized with Blackies name and there is even a little bell to entertain the cat as well.

I really liked this cat Christmas stocking because of its size. It is 18 inches long and 8 inches wide so I can fit plenty of treats for our beloved animal in it. I chose everything from play mice to edible treats in the cat Christmas stocking. I just can't wait to give it to him on the morning of the holiday. I hung it on my cat scratching post. I thought about putting cat nip in it but I thought he might tear it up.

Paw Cat Christmas Stocking

The second thing I purchased I bought more for myself than my cat. I just couldn't pass this one up!

It is a Paw shaped stocking. This will even let Santa and other holiday guests know exactly who the stocking is for. The only thing I didn't like about it was it is too small for all the toys and treats I got for my cat.

What I really liked about this one is that I can put a kitty name on the white spot up in the very top corner in sparkly green letters. It even had a little bell hanging off the side for a kitty to play with it.

Maybe I will get my husband to agree to another kitten for our family. That way the Christmas stocking may be put to use.
